012: Legislative Council Building

This granite building in classical style has stood on this site for 100 years. It has served as the Supreme Court and later as home of the Legislative Council, Hong Kong's elected parliament. The impressive façade of the building is now a declared monument. The Legislative Council has now moved to a new government complex in Admiralty, so this building will revert to its former function as a law court.
