1933 is a former abattoir restored to its 1930s art deco glory and now used as a hub for creative industries. The buildings feature original elements along with modern additions to create a space for offices, galleries, cafés and shops. The original architectural features alone are worth a visit and the labyrinth of passages and ramps make for interesting exploration. Twenty-six bridges connect the central core with the outer structure. Walk up the cattle paths to the roof for a coffee. This building is one of a kind and well worth the detour.
